MVR residential care home

MVR Residential Care Home is an initiative of Dr. M. V. Rajagopalan Memorial Trust, which was established on 20th February 2004. The Home was started in 2016 to address the growing need for good places for senior citizens to stay. At present, it caters to the group of the elderly who are economically independent. Each pay-and-stay Home will accommodate a maximum of five residents in single and double rooms.

Residents are assured of the following:

  • a positive environment

  • nutritious, hygienically prepared vegetarian meals, according to the specific requirements of residents

  • the presence of caretakers to attend to the needs of residents, as requested and required

  • clean beds and rooms

  • personal safety and security while in the care

  • suitable recreation, including a music system, common television, newspapers and books

  • freedom of movement, within reason

  • improved quality of life, as visitors and guests are encouraged to spend more time with residents

  • periodic medical check-ups

  • home visit by a doctor when necessary

  • nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for residents who need it
